is it too much to ask to be treated fairly?
don’t ask me to give what you won’t give back.
they say when you love someone, you shouldn’t expect anything from them.
but that’s unrealistic. we’re only human damn it.
and the social exchange / economics of love would beg to differ.
it works the same way with everyone.
like friends for instance,
there are people who only come looking for you when they need you,
otherwise you might as well not exist.
and i think i’ve tolerated that for much too long.
i absolutely CANNOT STAND being taken for granted.
so much giving gets a little tiring when you’re not receiving.
sometimes it’s just not worth it.
